Blue Caboose Kids Clothing Store Coming to Ponce Place

    Decatur Metro | May 5, 2010 | 2:22 pm

Looks like Decatur is getting a new kids clothing store, according to the sign on the post below at Ponce (Ave) & Ponce (Place)!

Blue Caboose  – at 308 Ponce Place – will feature both new and “nearly new” clothing for your kids.  (Or someone else’s kid for that matter.)  The store is opening this Saturday, May 8th.

Lots more info on Blue Caboose’s website.

      New Decatur slogan:

Decatur: “Kids and Beer Welcome Here”

“Nice” advertising; pollution on a pole.

That kind of turns me off too. I am not even sure that’s legal!

I’d originally only seen this ad on the window of the former Kaleidoscope space, which seemed innocuous enough, but now I’ve seen these littering poles across town. When I removed the one pictured here, I found that it was actually glued on. That takes some serious chutzpah. I’ll be buying baby gifts at Feather Baby, thank you very much.

I’ve seen all sorts of flyers in all sorts of places. I doubt it’s illegal. I see it as affordable advertising for a business with the best intentions.
