New Barbeque in Old Epicurean Space on Clairmont

As Chowhound points out in a comment, the AJC’s Meridith Ford Goldman reports that “David Roberts, one-third of the triumvirate that was the original Sam & Dave’s in Marietta, is opening his own ‘cue joint, Community BBQ, in the old Epicurean space on Clairmont Road in Decatur.”  (That’s the restaurant strip across from the Gables apartments on Clairmont)

From Goldman’s post, it sounds like Roberts is just about ready to open.  Click over for a few menu details for the owner and plans for the future.

    I met the folks who are working on getting it started and it sounds like great food and atmosphere. I’m excited about what’s happening in that little strip on Clairemont.
