Fox’s “Past Life” Plans 8 Months of Filming in Decatur
Decatur Metro | July 20, 2009 | 2:43 pmOver at The Decatur Minute, Cheryl reports one of Fox’s newest series, Past Life, will be filming in Decatur and Atlanta for the next eight months (!) before premiering the network next February.
From what I can tell there are no zombies associated with this show, though the premise seems just as out-there as Woody Harrelson going on a zombie-killing rampage. Something about reincarnation and solving crimes.
That’s the bad news. The good news is that it’s got Toby from West Wing!
Here, just watch the promo…
I think the city code mentions no filming in Decatur without zombies or zombie related material. Something in their union contracts….
Wow. That looks god awful. Like, “I’m embarrassed that this was shot in my area” bad. Like an even less fun version of “Fringe.”
Eight months of that? As the trailer says, “I don’t wanna go!”
Daren, I’m sensing in your previous life you may have been an ostrich.
I just hope that in a previous life I wasn’t a rather annoying, whiney actor.
Filming will be August – December
They look like zombies to me.
Being in the biz I appreciate the work but I do wish they’d shoot some higher caliber material around here. Maybe like “Madea meets Baywatch”. Or something…
BTW love the tag cloud. Hours of mindless fun. Even my cat likes to watch it.
And this is probably another quality production that increases the value and profile of my Agnes Scott degrees.
Nelliebelle, have you signed a contract to be in the show?
No, but ASC tends to be attracting the yuckiest productions these days. Makes me sad to see the campus on so much crappy TV and movies.
Good grief, people. It’s a clip barely a minute long that sets up the premise and tone of a tv show. Is it Masterpiece Theatre? Of course not. But try and reserve judgment until it’s actually on the air and you’ve seen two. maybe three minutes of the show.
It can’t go wrong with Nelliebelle having a prominent role.
You are right. Back in my supermodel days that always said I really added something special to the shoot. I wish you could be me.
Oh, we are just carping and snarking. It’s a hobby.
I’m at a loss as to how a steaming turd like this could be produced by the writer of “Friday Night Lights,” easily one of the best shows on television in recent memory.
