Confirmation: ATL Fat Cats ARE Pissed About MARTA

Looks like my hunch was right.

Its not just rail-smooching socialists that are upset about the GA legislature’s blatant disregard for MARTA.

The Atlanta Business Chronicle reports that CAP and other Atlanta business leaders are also very unhappy with the Gold Dome crew.

And if you think that doesn’t matter, you aren’t a politician.

    Hope you get that tree out of your living room mighty soon! I’m continually astounded by the number of people with trees down either on cars or homes.

    And how! A humorous phrase indeed.

    I read the Atlanta Business Chronicle linked to this entry and I felt my ventricles sink to the pit of my stomach. The whole time I was reading it, I kept thinking the phrase, “why do things have to be so complicated…”

    Oh, but wait…because we humans make it so. If only someone could press a Staples Easy Button right now.

    I don’t use MARTA as a primary or secondary means of transportation; it’s probably more tertiary. Airport, downtown events, anywhere midtown onward where parking becomes unwieldy or ludicrous to even try.

    But but but! Echoing other sentiments, “they can’t shut down service a day a week!”
