A 5th Earl Thanksgiving

Lots of delicious complements to go with your Ashley Farms Turkey (which can be ordered from Sawickis!).
Has anyone had the Ashley Farms turkey before? Would you recommend? I am thinking of buying one but wondering whether it’s worth the money.
I work with Lynne at Sawicki’s and the Ashley Farms product is a quality bird for the money. This is the second year in a row we have carried it and we have had great feedback. Free range, grain fed and no hormones or artificial growth promoters makes a huge difference in the taste and texture of poultry. The juiciness pays out big on the back in end in case you overcook. Plus, this cooperative of poultry farms in North Carolina is committed to practicing environmentally friendly growing and processing methods. I didn’t brine last year (I was nine months pregnant) and it turned out great – so did the baby.
