Not Decatur, but it IS metro.

Also, Decatur could use a hell of a lot more western wear, if you ask me.

          That’s the truth!

Al, did you pick up some Western wear while you were there?

All hat, no cattle could be Decatur’s city motto.

Or “All taxation – shut up and like your representation, as we dictate from buildings undergoing $300/ sq ft renovation … Oh and by the way , eat some dang cake”

This is about 8 years old, but still an interesting article about how Plaza Fiesta came to be. It was also featured on CBS Morning News not too long ago.

We were there one afternoon during the World Cup. Interesting to say the least. The free play area is huge. More room for germs! I wandered into a store called Shoppers World and started giggling at the prices. It’s like a giant Ross. That might make you run for the hills, but I was pretty amazed at the shoe prices.

Ross for Less is interesting. 99% of it isn’t what I want. But then I’ll find something perfect for $11.50. So I return…
