The Champion has a nice front page article on the DPD (last week’s edition now up online). It’s about reporter Carla Parker’s ride along and community policing experience. I found myself nodding along because her interactions with the officers she met were what I’ve experienced so many times with DPD folks. It truly is impressive how the CPR philosophy is so embraced within the DPD.
