New Sq/Ft Boutique Opens on Decatur Square Today

Decatur Metro | October 8, 2012

BSP’s Dave Blanchard wrote in yesterday with a heads up that his wife Talia’s second Decatur boutique, Sq/Ft, is opening tomorrow at 11am along Sycamore “Walk”.  And wouldn’t you know it, their Facebook page says the same thing!  Talia followed up this morning with a bit more info…

We are opening at 11 am this morning! Sq/Ft will hopefully fill the retail void of men’s apparel and mens & kids shoes, but offers a totally different option for women as well. Our key lines are Patagonia & Alternative for clothing and Frye (men’s & women’s, moved from squash blossom), men’s Toms & Fly London, Sanuk, Crocs, Dolce Vita and Jeffrey .

More to come from Keen and Tretorn this week. Thank you to Decatur for making this dream a reality!

Congratulations on your grand opening today! Raging Burrito & Taco is so happy to have you as our neighbors! It is excellent to finally have a vibrant retail business on our side of the square.

I enjoyed visiting the store today. Lots of nice things that I could buy and cute things that will lure my offspring in. It has men’s stuff but lots of things that women and teens would like too.

Can’t say I’ll shop there much but love the renovation of the interior space and the exterior awning. Have to admit that one day last week, while walking the dog and the rain started to come down, I stopped under the awning only to see a sign, “Please no loitering under the awning.” (or something like that). Maybe Decatur has an ordinance that says “No loitering under business awnings with pets, including alligators, during rainstorms”. I quickly moved on. Already worried about dem Gators!
Best of luck for the new endeavor.

I’ll definitely check it out next time I’m at the square!
