Are those the geese from Clairmont Ave. by the VA? That’s a long walk! And why do geese walk across the street in dangerous traffic when they can fly? Is it because their dinosaur-era brains don’t get it?

Who knows where they are from? They may have just been a migrating flock–’tis the season, after all. These fellers were on Trinity in front of Fire Station No. 1. And I have to give a HUGE shout-out to the Decatur firefighter who humored me this morning and stepped out into the street to stop traffic while the silly geese walked across. In my book, that’s heroism.

Same geese at the ones at Walmart a week or so ago? Have they decided to forego Walmart for indie businesses?
