Get Your Decatur Garden Tour Tickets Before Prices Go Up!

    Decatur Metro | April 26, 2012 | 10:30 am

    Louis writes in…

Tickets are now on sale for the 24thannual Decatur Garden Tour.

It will be Saturday and Sunday, May 5 and 6. It features 13 public and private gardens all located throughout Decatur. Tickets are $20 in advance and $25 the weekend of the tour. You can purchase tickets at Intown Ace Hardware and Seventeen Steps, or online at decaturgardentour.com

A ticket is good all weekend (Saturday, 10:00 to 5:00, Sunday noon to 5:00), with one garden open Saturday evening between 7:00 and 9:00 PM, featuring refreshments and entertainment.

All proceeds from the Tour benefit the Wylde Center, formerly the Oakhurst Community Garden Project.

According to Louis, this is the final weekend you can order tickets before prices go up.

I really like the garden tour and I look forward to this one. Trying to decide whether to volunteer or to go see the gardens. Or do both. Anybody want to be on my team? I can’t promise you’ll see the best stuff, but you’ll see good stuff in good company. contact me at maryatdecaturbokfestivaldotcom.

Just to be clear, you will be able to buy tickets next week for $20 up until the day of the tour, either online or at 17 Steps or Intown Ace. But this will be this last weekend to get your $20 tix and have them in hand. So if you’re out and about this weekend at Ace, go ahead and get ’em!

As always, thanks to the good folks at Intown Ace and 17 Steps for being our retail ticket outlets!
