    Wylde Center Presents: Beer Garden

    Looks like the Wylde Center is kicking off the summer with a cool, new Beer Garden event this summer! Reagan sends along the announcement.
    BEER GARDEN: Summer Kick-Off in the Oakhurst Garden
    Ale Yeah! │Cakes & Ale │ Farm Burger │ Farm 255 │ Paper Plane │ Pine Street Market │ Red Brick Brewing │ Red Hare Brewing │Terrapin │ Twain’s │ Wild Heaven Craft Beers
    Enjoy the beauty of the Oakhurst Garden and celebrate the work of the Wylde Center all while enjoying local brews, local food and local music!
    • When: Saturday, June 22, 2013
    • Where: Oakhurst Garden,  435 Oakview Road, Decatur, GA  30030
    • VIP Happy Hour: 4:30 p.m.     │ Main Event: 5:30 – 8:00 p.m.
    $30 | General admission tickets include seasonal sliders from Farm Burger and Farm 255, as well as beers from Ale Yeah!, Red Brick Brewing, Red Hare Brewing, Terrapin, Twain’s,  Wild Heaven Craft Beers and more, in your Wylde Center pint glass!
    $60 | A limited number of VIP tickets are available for the pre-party happy hour, which includes a private garden tour, featured cocktails by Paul Calvert of Paper Plane, appetizers by Cakes & Ale and charcuterie by Pine Street Market as well as the main event!
    The event will also feature music by local band, The Grits, a SILENT AUCTION, in addition to an amazing LIVE AUCTION with items such as a full season’s CSA share from Riverview Farms, a long weekend at a Toccoa mountain house, sausage making class from Pine Street Market, four-night beach get-away in Seagrove, FL, dinner for six at Cakes and Ale, a year’s supply of local fresh eggs, and more!

    Get Your Decatur Garden Tour Tickets Before Prices Go Up!

    Tickets are now on sale for the 24thannual Decatur Garden Tour.

    It will be Saturday and Sunday, May 5 and 6. It features 13 public and private gardens all located throughout Decatur. Tickets are $20 in advance and $25 the weekend of the tour. You can purchase tickets at Intown Ace Hardware and Seventeen Steps, or online at decaturgardentour.com

    A ticket is good all weekend (Saturday, 10:00 to 5:00, Sunday noon to 5:00), with one garden open Saturday evening between 7:00 and 9:00 PM, featuring refreshments and entertainment.

    All proceeds from the Tour benefit the Wylde Center, formerly the Oakhurst Community Garden Project.

    According to Louis, this is the final weekend you can order tickets before prices go up.
