Dog Found in Coen Park Near Kirkwood/Edgewood

Decatur Metro | February 23, 2012

Kathryn writes in…

Hi, we recently found a young dog in Coan Park — if you could post this under lost and found that would be awesome!  She looks like a Pit-Weinaraner mix to me; very friendly around people, but we don’t know about other dogs.  If the owner or anyone who has any info on who this dog belongs to, they could contact me at or at

Also, we’d hate to bring this girl to a shelter if we could help it, but because of our other dog we really can’t keep her long.  If anyone would be interested in fostering this dog while we keep searching for the owner, they could contact me at the above email and phone number as well.

Thanks a lot!

Please consider http://friendsofdekalbanimals.com/ before the shelter idea. :) Good luck, he/she is super cute!

If you haven’t done so, please contact Second Life Atlanta (http://secondlifeatlanta.org/) They have a facebook page, maybe they would post a picture of this adorable little girl for you. They care a lot about homeless pets. Please follow up on here, we’d love to know if she gets a home!
