Our fav is steel cut oats from YDFM put into a rice cooker the night before. Cheap, easy, and tasty ! I have to thank my wife for making this a breakfast staple
I used to do in a crockpot. Sad thing is that my kids prefer the instant flaky kind in packets with maple flavoring to real oatmeal with real maple syrup. But maybe I’ll try again to see if anyone in my house has developed any sense. If nothing else, the smell of oatmeal wafting through the house in the morning would be nice.
