Ha! Thanks for publishing the photos! I couldn’t resist doing something for April Fools Day. Saw some worried kids out front reading the signs with their parents (they all left smiling, so I’m assuming the adults explained the joke.) The idea popped into my head a while back when we got new carpeting and had furniture piled on the front porch – several kids came by and asked if we were moving and if so what would happen to the pirate ship.
I’m glad to know my efforts are appreciated.
I don’t understand. Are they moving? But then why get a variance?
Maybe Georgia Tech Professor Loof Lirpa could explain it to you, Karass.

I will miss any Decatur homeowner who loved trains and had a good sense of how to use gutters at an appropriate location. Best of luck!

Great Seasonal Decoration, Nancy! I bet the tear down and storage were among your favorites! Thanks for all the fun you add to the community.
Please keep up your displays. Our whole family loves them. We always wonder where you put all the stuff when you take it down?
