I want to thank J-Lo, HDog, and Trudy for their recommendations. All three businesses returned my call within four hours. I went with the first company, Mark Houck’s Appliance Repair. He gave me an estimate over the phone and he final bill was within one dollar of the estimate. He worked quietly and quickly. He later told me that he grew up near Decatur, went to Saint Thomas More School, graduated from Gordon High in South DeKalb, and has worked in the area for over thirty years. Mr. Houck seems to be a fine fellow and I would highly recommend him for any major appliance problem.
