    What an awful, awful intersection though.

      Agree. And I think this photo illustrates that well. In just one photo shot we have a:

      – Train blocking four lanes of one of Decatur’s major thoroughfares and a sidewalk
      – Car stopped diagonally across the pedestrian crossing so that it is not hit either by the train in front or by traffic on Howard
      – “Do Not Enter ” sign
      – “No Right Turn” sign
      – PATH sign
      – Three crosswalks
      – Railroad gate with the arms down

      All the photo is missing is all the middle school, high school, and Agnes Scott students crossing the intersection constantly, not to mention cyclists, other pedestrians, and strollers!
