Sad news.
Decatur Active Living reports over on 231 Sycamore that Seniors/Keenagers Coordinator, Christine Lewis, passed away over the weekend from complications from a stroke. She was 57 years-old.
My deepest condolences to her family, friends and coworkers.

Chris was a wonderful women and this news is very sad. She did a lot for the Seniors in Decatur…her smile will be sorely missed.
I will miss you Chris . . . my prayers are with her family.
Chris was a charming woman with a magnetic personality. She led the Active Living program always with good cheer and encouragement for those who participated. I will forever be grateful to her for steering me into programs that were worth my time and effort in attending.
The funeral service for Chris will be Saturday, August 1st, at 1:00 p.m., at Divine Mortuary located at 5620 Hillandale Drive, Lithonia, Georgia 30038, phone number 770-322-8000.
There will be a viewing prior to the Funeral Service from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. There will be a reception after the service at a to be announced location.
There will be a reception in honor of Chris starting at 4 pm Saturday, at the Decatur Recreation Center, 231 Sycamore St. All are welcome to attend.

Chris was a wonderful caring friend. She loved her job. I will miss seeing
