In anticipation of the Dalai Lama’s Emory visit on Oct. 20th-22nd, the university is planning to go dark for half an hour on Friday, Oct 19th from 9-9:30p.  The event is designed to promote energy conservation awareness prior to the Dalai Lama’s visit.

My question is, will anyone notice that doesn’t read this press release?  Emory’s main campus is nearly deserted on Friday nights.  Sounds like a great time for a giant game of laser tag!
