I’m sure many of us have noticed that all of the permanent Wachovia signs around Atlanta in recent months – from stand-alone ATMs to individual branch signage – have been replaced with temporary covers, often with a titillating line of exposed red at the edges hinting at the future.  Rrrrrrr.

Well, apparently some of those signs were just too big to cover over in preparation for the big Wells Fargo reveal later this month.  And while the large sign atop the Wachovia building at Atlantic Station got the AJC treatment for it’s makeover this past weekend, Decatur’s own Wachovia building also got a sign makeover late last week with very little fanfare.
