Decatur Metro | August 23, 2016 | 2:03 pmFrom Volunteer Decatur….
The AJC DBF is just around the corner. Held at various venues in downtown Decatur, it is the country’s largest independent book festival in the country. The event includes stages dedicated to authors specializing in Poetry, History, Science, Teen and Children’s literature and even a Cooking Stage. It relies heavily on volunteer support to make it a perennial success! Such a cool event. The first book fest I attended I walked around amazed, thinking, “My peeps!” If I may borrow a phrase from our beloved Arts Festival, Be a part of it!
