Boogaloos Leaving Decatur For Ponce City Market

We’ve noticed the signs out in front of Boogaloos for the last couple of weeks, but we’ve been slow about posting.  Luckily, Tomorrow’s News Today has the details…

The original Boogaloos boutique on West Ponce de Leon Avenue in Decatur is currently having a “Store Moving Blow-Out Sale.”   The store, which opened in Decatur in 2001, subsequently expanded to TOWN Brookhaven (2009) and Ponce City Market (2016).   A store employee  confirmed that the Decatur store will not be reopening in Decatur and is instead “moving to Ponce City Market.”

Hard to blame them for this decision. They are going to make a killing at that place. Still, that shopping strip has taken a lot of hits lately.

Saw this sign, but I thought it was the shop that closed some time ago on that stretch.
