Photos From Evans Fine Foods Last Day in Business

Chris visited Evans Fine Foods good and early this morning, on the restaurant’s last day after 70 years in business and took a few photos documenting his visit.
Damn, damn, damn.
I’ve been going to Evans off and on since 1970. My store, Bicycle South, used to be in the same shopping center when we first opened in 1972 and I can’t tell how many breakfasts I had there before opening the store. I had my final breakfast there this past Thursday. Sad to see it go!
Farewell to Pam, John, Martha, Pete, Mike and the many, many others who made Evans a cherished memory for our family. We hate to see you go. Good luck to all of you.
Started eating breakfast here in the mid 1960s – homework before physics class. Off and on lunches over the years. After news of their closing, several short-short stack made-from-scratch pancake breakfasts. So who has the best pancakes now!
Java Jive. Especially in October when they have their famous pumpkin pancakes!
