That graphic looks like Robotron (not to minimize the seriousness of what the graphic represents).
sincerely impressed with the grace and diplomacy of Eric Tumperi’s comments re: Mayor Floyd’s email, which, may have legitimately swung the vote to his opponent.
I agree. I voted for Mr.T — in fact, I suspect that email might have gained him at least a few sympathy votes. He had new (good) ideas — even if I criticized his downtown parking comments on another forum
I wholeheartedly agree, and extend the same sentiment to those who worked very hard on Mr T’s campaign, especially considering that Mayor Floyd deployed a similar email tactic which probably tipped the last election for his former seat, too.
Agree that Tumperi’s response is diplomatic given that Floyd’s letter was divisive and insinuated a political partnership that evidently did not exist. That letter left me feeling very uncomfortable and doubting some of the assumptions and opinions I have had about city leadership. It probably had no effect on the election–votes for Tumperi out of distaste for the letter probably balanced any votes for Drake out of fear that Tumperi was teamed with Ridley. It may actually help Tumperi if he runs in the future or is up for civic appointment. He comes off as the gentleman in this situation. If Drake had nothing to do with the letter, I feel sorry for him because I think it undermined his reputation as a nice guy.
