    From the Decatur Minute…

Dine out at a participating Decatur restaurant on Tuesday Oct 6th, 2015, and a percentage of your bill will be donated to support the Decatur MLK Service Jr Project. This large scale volunteer initiative helps low income Decatur seniors live safely, comfortably, and affordably in their homes. Every year, over 1,200 volunteers complete needed repairs, weatherization, yard work, and handicap upgrades to dozens of homes. This is the 4th annual Restaurants for Repairs event, and it remains the only public fundraiser for this worthy cause. We’ve got more restaurants than ever this year, so there is something for everyone!
