Decatur Easter Egg Hunt Cancelled

From the Decatur Minute…

Due to the forecast of rain for tonight and tomorrow morning (see below), we are canceling the DBA’s Easter Egg Hunt this year.

We invite you to stop by the Decatur Visitor’s Center, 113 Clairemont Ave., and pick up a treat bag, candy and Easter Bunny Ears.

The Visitors Center is open Tuesday – Saturday from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. Stay dry and enjoy your weekend!

    I know they said rain or shine, but is the Tour deCatur really going to happen this morning? Not sure my five year old will ever want to run again if I make her run a mile in a freezing rain thunderstorm!

    Too bad. Well, you can always drop by the Cook’s Warehouse, and take a picture next to the giant carrot in the front window! It’s indoors, and there’s free parking in back! Easter Egg hunts, giant carrots, all part of the charm of life in Decatur.
