Car Runs Into Finders Keepers in Avondale

    Decatur Metro | May 11, 2012 | 3:03 pm

I gotta check my Twitter account more frequently!  Tenn sent in this pic from Finders Keepers in Avondale yesterday.

Which led Jason to point out “Not even a year after the wing place next door had the same thing happen…”

Patch wrote this story about the incident.

So if I run over there real quick can I claim the car? You know what they say, “Finders Keepers.”

Maybe it’s “car”ma! Those people are always so rude — maybe it’s just coming back around… or through the front door, as the case may be.

The last time I was in there (which will quite literally be the LAST time), the only person who even bothered to speak to me was one of the men who helps to move the furniture around. The salespeople couldn’t have cared less that I was even there, let alone about helping me with anything. Has anyone else had this experience?

I’m not one to wish bad things on anyone. I’m just sayin’…

Have to agree with Elle. Feel rather invisible whenever I have gone there and if I find something the person behind the counter comes across like it is a bother to check me out.

I like the ladies – and gentlemen – of FindersKeepers. I’ve always had wonderful experiences there, including when I popped in last Friday (a day after the car crash into their window). I stopped in because I heard they had a really cute Crate&Barrel or Pottery Barn bed with a desk underneath for a girl’s room. I didn’t get the bunk but I did buy two other cute things. The check-out lady was quite chatty and friendly.
