Happy Saint Patrick’s Day everyone. May the patron saint of Ireland drive the virtual snakes from our lives.

Thanks PC. Those that are planning on celebrating the feast day of the Great Irish Saint at the Marley House might want to stop by Saint Thomas More and maybe say a little prayer:
        I bind unto myself today
The virtues of the starlit heaven,
        The glorious sun’s life-giving ray,
The whiteness of the moon at even,
The flashing of the lightning free,
        The whirling wind’s tempestuous shocks,
The stable earth, the deep salt sea,
        Around the old eternal rocks.
        Amen. Happy Saint Patricks Day!’

      It’s not green.

Take a shot glass. Fill half with Irish whiskey and half with Irish cream. Drop in the Guiness and drink. Repeat. Do this enough times and the beer may not turn green but YOU will.

Gah! I’m turning green just reading this– Bailey’s, Bushmill’s, and Guinness? All at once??? Ugghhhhhhh…you’re one twisted sister, mister. (Which is also why I’m one of your biggest fans!)

I have fans?!? Well I’ll be…I thought DM readers were just evenly split between those that hate me and want me permanently banned and the others who just roll their eyes and tolerate my ramblings.

You just made my day, Cuba! But is that really our old, trusty Cuba? Did you separate out your name on purpose? If you’re gonna do that, I highly recommend adding an underscore :-)

Silly you! of course you have fans! :0)

So glad you asked about the name! It’s really her, but for the life of me, I can’t figure out the dang cubalibre/ Cuba Libre pattern!

Drove past the Marlay yesterday afternoon whilst shuttling my kids to sporting events. I turned GREEN with envy. Would have been nice to partake. I hope all the SPD celebrations went smoothly, without incident and brought Decatur merchants a lotta green.
