We regret that we have to cancel Touch a Truck due to the threat of severe weather tomorrow. Our rain date is April 21. Hope you all can join us then. Evidently I lost my good weather Karma when I left the Special Events position :)

I’ve already read ASC prof Amber Dermont’s book “The Starboard Sea” at the suggestion of my wife who is a former student of hers. It is a truly well crafted book and an easy, engaging read. I would definitely recommend it to everyone.

I also thought it was superb. We have autographed copies at Little Shop.

I also saw where she’ll be signing books on March 31st at Eagle Eye on N. Decatur @ 1pm. Should be a good time. My wife speaks very highly of her as both a writer and a person.

I like the “frame something you’ve been meaning to frame” part of the 30 day challenge. I could probably fill all 30 days with that.
