DHS Girls Track Team Wins State Championship

The DHS girls track team won the state championship. They also won in 2006. No other DHS team has won a state title in this time period. Coach is Price Jones – who is also the football coach.

A – Athens Christian, AA – Decatur, AAA – Monroe, AAAA – Southwest DeKalb, AAAAA – M. L. King

Congratuations DHS Track team girls!
It’s odd that there not even a track at the school.
Even more of an accomplishment don’t you think? Go DECATUR!
Not only that, Decatur won basketball championships in the 1980s without a gym at the school (one suitable to play in anyway)
