    Decatur Metro | February 26, 2009 | 4:51 pm

For the second year in a row, a group of kids from Glennwood will make the ride. The bike path along Howard makes riding for the kids that much safer. And for them to be involved in this rally, hopefully will send a message to our DOT.

FYI, there will be riders starting from many other points “Outside the Perimeter” as well. From the http://www.georgiaridestothecapitol.org” website, click on View Routes. There should be nearly 2,000 riders this year!

If you have a couple of hours after the event, please stop & see your state elected legislator!

It’s clear from the actions yesterday that the DOT has its own agenda, which does not include being responsive to true needs of the citizens.
