    Bad Wreck On Scott?

    Decatur Metro | October 30, 2008 | 10:40 pm

MG reported a “seemingly bad wreck” on Scott in front of Westchester Elementary around 8:45p this evening.

It couldn’t have happened much earlier because I drove down that stretch not 15 minutes prior to that.  UPDATE: Sounds like it took place around 7:30p

    Anyone have additional info?

I think it was somewhat earlier then that because I was in a meeting with Capt Brown from the Fire Dept and he left the meeting about 7:30 and returned about 8:15. You may have gone by after it was cleared.

It was earlier. We drove by around 7:30 and it had just happened. It was a single-vehicle wreck, and when we drove by, the car was on the passenger side with the roof up against the trees just south of Westchester. We spent the rest of the car ride musing how one flips one’s car like that (and hoping that the driver and passenger were okay).

Yes, it was earlier.. probably around 7:30. I walked down there to try to see what had happened. There were several rescue vehicles. I hope no one was seriously injured!
