Steinbeck’s St. Patrick’s Day Events Postponed To Sunday

    Decatur Metro | March 13, 2015 | 11:30 am

Due to the high chance of rain tomorrow, some St. Patrick’s Day festivities are being pushed back to Sunday.

This includes Steinbeck’s celebration, which has been advertised here for the past few days and benefits the Decatur Education Foundation, originally planned for tomorrow afternoon.  But you can expect the same events, kid-friendly atmosphere and bouncy house on Sunday afternoon.

Feel free to use this post to update readers on the status of other area St. Patrick’s Day events around Atlanta!

Disclosure: Steinbeck’s is a DM Sponsor

    It’s St. Patrick’s Day!

    Decatur Metro | March 17, 2010 | 12:16 pm

Put away all your orange sweaters, today’s Saint Patrick’s Day the world around!

The Decatur Minute has a list of events going on in Decatur, while the AJC has a big, fat, bloated list of events going on around the metro.   And of course, don’t forget about DM’s Featured Events Calendar!

But what I’d really like to know is, who has an embarrassing St. Patty’s Day story to tell?

    Happy St. Patty's Day!

    Decatur Metro | March 17, 2009 | 9:57 pm

Sometimes things are just a little too serendipitous to NOT be considered creepy.

I was just going to check in, say sorry for the late St. Patrick’s Day wishes, and then note that The Grange is absolutely mobbed this evening.

But then I noticed that Andisheh sent me a photo!  Gotta love him.

    The Grange - St. Patty's

As of 10pm, the credit union parking lot was still full and on-street parking stretched back to St. Thomas More.  You’d think the owners were Irish or something!

Maybe Darren will be good enough to give us an estimated head count tomorrow.

G’night all!  (Cue drunken rendition of “The Parting Glass”.  Fade black.)
