    UPDATED: Decatur Election Results Coming In Now

    UPDATE II: Updated results.  Also I went and pulled the unofficial results from First Christian Church precinct.  You can see those figures in the comments section!

    UPDATE: I’ve also posted some unofficial results from the Winnona precinct in the comments below…

    Though the website still says no precincts reporting, if you look click “Contest Detail” in the upper right corner, a good number of results are beginning to come in from all the different Decatur precincts for all the various races.  Here’s an overall look from 8:28pm.  Check it out for yourself HERE.

        Yeah, that one – and Goebel’s uncontested race – seems to just be advance voting, if you look at the “vote type summary” link.

      So for the 3-way at-large race, it’s just whoever has the most votes who wins? Or is there a run-off if no one has 50% or more? Why don’t I know this yet? Does it vary by type of election?

        In Decatur, a plurality will do it. No runoff.

      Evidently there will be a runoff between Scott Drake and Eric Tumperi, as Drake came in just under the required 50%.

        It got clarified in another thread that Decatur doesn’t require run-offs. Just a plurality of votes wins.
