    UPDATE: Well that was quick: Another tweet from Downtown Decatur reads…

    Good news: Scott Blvd is back OPEN and power in the area has been restored.

    Everyone be aware.  Downtown Decatur just tweeted…

      It’s closed only between Garden and just west of Westchester (the school). But traffic is a mess with people trapped on Garden trying to turn left onto Clairemont. All these people need to get off my lawn!

      From where is this photo taken? I am totally disoriented (generally, but also in looking at this pic.)
      Great perspective shot in any case…
      I am guessing that the entrance to Westchester Elem.is on the right?

        And yes, that’s Westchester on the right. But now I’m disoriented too. What’s the white patch on the lawn between the road and the Westchester parking lot. And where’s the “Westchester, A Community Learning for Life!” marquee?

          That white patch is the marquee.
