Yellow Lab Found Wandering Scott Boulevard

    Decatur Metro | June 6, 2015 | 9:02 pm

    Tom writes in…

A dog was found with collar but no contact information, wandering Scott Blvd.

The dog is very nice, obviously someones house dog. It was almost hit by a car. We’ve cleaned it up and are keeping it in our yard on Landover.

I would appreciate it if you could circulate this message, contact info, and picture – in hopes of locating his owner.

    Male, Yellow Lab. ~60-80 lbs.
    Thank you,
    Tom

He looks a bit like a dog I see get out sometimes on Adams Street. I will check with the house where I think he lives.

I just had lunch at the Impearial and there was a lost dog sign in the window that was a yellow lab-ish looking dog. May not be the same dog, but wouldn’t hurt to check.

Has the owner been found yet? If not, we might be a possible home for him!

Just saw same dog (linked to this DM post) on Facebook with the following info:
This dog was dropped of at Dekalb County animal shelter-
Here’s the tracking number: 28040670. They have a foster lined up to pick up the dog on Wed if not claimed. Please spread the word!!! Thank you.

Please look into it if you have room for him. With a small, old dog who hates (and likes to pick fights with) big dogs, I cannot take him, but I sure do hate to think of him being stuck at animal control.

He’s no longer on the DeKalb Animal Shelter website, so I’m assuming his foster picked him up.
