The Vox story is notable for its failure to present any evidence whatsoever that jaywalking laws were invented by auto makers.
I haven’t read the Vox story. And I’m not going to until you present me some evidence that jaywalking laws were NOT invented by the evil auto makers. So there!
I would encourage you to read it, but then again I am sure you can find a better way to waste 5 minutes of your life. I frankly dunno who invented jaywalking.
