Final Scene of New Stephen King Movie – Starring Samuel L. Jackson and John Cusack – Filmed on Adams Street

    Decatur Metro | February 6, 2014 | 9:50 am

    Cyndi writes in…

Film adaptation of the Stephen King novel “Cell” filmed on Adams Street today. Scenes set in a home on Adams Street are for the conclusion of the movie.

The AJC posted news about the movie filming in Atlanta a couple of weeks back, saying in part…

Samuel L. Jackson and John Cusack are teaming up for a spooky thriller based on a Stephen King novel, and it’ll be filming in Atlanta.

…The plot, per imdb: “In Cell, Jackson will play Tom McCourt, an engineer and former soldier who escapes from Boston along with Cusack’s character, Clay Riddell, after a mysterious pulse, transmitted by cell phones, spreads like a virus through the human population.”

This was a fun read. I hadn’t picked up a Stephen King book since that abortion known as “Tommyknockers,” but I found this at the library and it looked interesting. I ended up enjoying it more than I expected.
