      I still find it hard to reconcile my memories of eating breakfast and brunch at the original Flying Biscuit with their current status as a national chain. Kind of surprises me that Murphy’s never expanded in a similar way, though I heard they are looking to open a second location after all these years.

      Speaking of chains, saw on Briarcliff Patch that Loehmann’s Plaza owners are trying to secure a grocery store to replace the recently closed anchor and will eventually rename the shopping center. Trader Joe’s Plaza?!

      A tourist wouldn’t find much to see at Ponce City Market at this point. I guess that’s more of a “Coming Soon” list. I think that’s the first time I’ve seen the planned food court compared to Chelsea Market. That is pretty cool.
