Recycle Your Christmas Tree at Agnes Scott Thru January 10th
Decatur Metro | December 30, 2013 | 10:45 amUPDATE: Apparently recycling will be available until Jan 10th via the city. (I just am cursed with Public Works announcements lately, it seems!)
From the City of Decatur website…
Recycle your Christmas treet at the Christmas Tree Recycling Center at Agnes Scott College parking lot, Friday, Dec. 27 through Sunday, Jan. 5. The entrance to the parking lot is between 184 and 206 S. Candler St.
Please do not leave your Christmas trees anywhere else on the ASC campus. For information call 404-377-5571.
That cat is loving all his new scratching posts.
That cat is probably trying to find his way home after inadvertently being recycled with the Christmas tree. We’ve all forgotten an ornament or two, but a cat?
Given the time and effort my cats spend batting around the ornaments on the tree, I think you’re right on the money here! Hope he finds his way home.
That animal looks to be the elusive Wampus Beast!
Per email from David Junger, the last day is not the one in the Focus noted above, but is Friday, January 10, the same as the date in the door hanger.
Doesn’t CoD always pick up trees left on the curb this time of year?
They may, but they don’t want to if they do. Those trees would go to the landfill, not to recycling. It’s not a huge effort to take one over to ASC.
CoD picked mine up yesterday. I guess I was mistaken, I thought yard waste was turned into mulch somewhere.
Never have before
