Re TLC looking for houses in Decatur: For a second I had a ray of hope, maybe they were looking for houses that badly need a makeover. Oh well.

I thought the same! I am prepared to sacrifice my self-respect on TV, in return for a home renovation! I guess I will have to wait a bit longer…

Someday I expect that for the producers of “Hoarders” will look through our basement window… and then we will finally make some progress on clearing out the accumulated detritus of modern life.

Oh and hurray to Bob Herndon! I don’t quite understand Knight Life and why Bob’s barbecue is featured there. But Bob always deserves a hurray!

Why, oh why, do I insist on reading the comments? I can actually feel my already-minimal IQ dropping to the same level to that of Honey Boo Boo’s mother.

The castle house seems like a good fit for the TLC show. Gooooooo castle house!

Also in alternative energy news, DeKalb is going to start powering its sanitation trucks with landfill gas converted to compressed natural gas. They will also start selling this gas in October to customers with cng vehicles. We plan on looking into this and may decide to buy a cng powered car next time around.
