The Decatur Book Festival’s Daren Wang sends in the end result of Thursday evening’s “A Great Day in Decatur” photo event with many our city’s published authors.

Great shot Darren! Wonderful execution of a cool and fun idea. BTW Ryan’s hat really anchors the bottom right of the photo 😉 Thanks for making it happen.

Anne Emanuel is fabulous! I didn’t realize she lives in Decatur.

I met her that evening and enjoyed talking with her very much. I also met Andisheh and Cranky Old Timer!

It was a fun evening. It was a fund raiser for the book festival so if you regret not being there, you might still want to contribute.

Andisheh is seated next to one of my favorite people in the world, Anne Emanuel. GSU Law School will be poorer without her. I love her.

Joshilyn Jackson likes to hang out in Decatur, but doesn’t she live way out in the west ATL burbs? Did she ever live here?
