“Adult Children of Divorce” Filming in Decatur

    Decatur Metro | March 20, 2012 | 12:00 pm

Jack wrote in asking if the Clint Eastwood movie “Trouble with the Curve” filming around Atlanta recently had made it’s way to Decatur, after seeing a movie crew along Clairemont Ave yesterday.  The city’s Katie Abel informs us that it wasn’t Eastwood, but A.C.O.D. (aka Adult Children of Divorce) that’s been filming around the city lately.

The film stars Adam Scott (Parks & Recreation); Amy Poehler (SNL, Parks & Recreation); Jane Lynch (Glee); Jessica Alba (Fantastic Four, Sin City); Catherine O’Hara (SCTV, Beetlejuice, Home Alone); Richard Jenkins (Hall Pass, Burn After Reading) and Clark Duke (Hot Tub Time Machine).

According to Ms. Abel, the movie will be filming inside No. 246 for much of next week.

      Funny cast. Terrible title.

Actually, I got confused about which thread was which and thought this was another city motto suggestion.

And not a bad one at that! We certainly have our fair share of local characters, comedians and kooks. But any entity that can be abbreviated “COD”? Meh…

OMG! I would L-O-V-E to meet Mrs Lynch! I go as her every year for Halloween…complete with bullhorn and track suit, thank you :)
With that cast, the movie is sure to be hilarious!!!

My husband and I was passing by and we saw Amy Pohler up close. She looks great, would have loved to see Jane Lynch and Jessica Alba.

I see they’ve taken a couple of Decatur Police cars and made them into I’ve-forgotten-the-name-of-the-town police cars with magnetic signs. Nothing like having the real thing for a prop.
