    Decatur’s New Year’s Resolution

    Decatur Metro | December 28, 2010 | 2:25 pm

Mr./Ms. Decatur had a pretty good 2010.  Lots o’ new restaurants, public improvement projects, an amicable school redistricting.  And all in a recovering economy!

As someone living amongst its insides, what do you think should be this smirky character’s New Year’s resolution for 2011?

      To open the Decatur Diner?

Sorry…I know this is an over-used subject, but I figured I might as well say it before some else did.

Why be kinder to the trees of course and let the trees give a little to by utilizing their green infrastructure capabilities in streetscapes and parking lots!

I think our goal for 2011 should be one beer tap for every man, woman, child and man-child in Decatur.

To achieve, first you must believe!

I’m quite surprised no one has said “go on a car diet” yet.

Well, I would say it, but that would just be playing right into your sneaky little paws, wouldn’t it?
