    Duckbill Studios Spring Sale

    Decatur Metro | April 30, 2009 | 8:46 am

The misses forwards me an email that announced Scottdale’s Duckbill Studios Spring Sale started last Saturday.

Beginning Saturday, April 25, the gallery at Duckbill Studios will come alive with over 100 pieces of original and affordable art by more than 6 professional artists for Duckbill’s annual spring sale. The Art Sale is open to the public from April 25-May 9, with a kickoff on Saturday, April 25 from 10 AM – 2:00 PM.

The Spring Sale is Duckbill’s opportunity to offer pieces at 10% – 50% off retail prices to our community. The gallery has art glass including functional pieces (cups, plates, vases, perfume bottles, candlesticks, bowls), paperweights, ornaments, sculpture in a variety of styles and price points, insuring that everyone-from the serious collector, to the art-buying novice-can find something that suits their space and budget.

    Event: Spring Sale

Location: Duckbill Studios, 3172 E. Ponce de Leon Ave, Suite D, Scottdale, GA 30079

    Kickoff Event: Saturday, April 25, 2009 from 10 AM – 2:00 PM

    Date/Time: April 25-May 9, 2009; Saturdays from 10 AM – 2:00 PM; other times by appointment

I know I’m going to go buy (pun intended). We had the opportunity to see some of Tadashi Torii’s work at Arthouse this year and he is a wonderful artist. I’m not familiar with the other artists’ work but am sure it is outstanding!

Wouldn’t it have started last Saturday if it was kicked off on the 25th…?
