Who has a go-to store in downtown Decatur for last minute gifts? I know many such stores have gone away, but there must be a few good ones left. I have about an hour to shop this afternoon, so I’d like to come up with a couple of specific destinations. Thinking about smaller secondary gifts for the adults on my list — can be decorative or edible. Thanks for any suggestions!
Homegrown !
A big second to Homegrown! Vivid on Ponce Place has pretty things, and Intown Ace on Scott has lots of cool stuff (although it’s not exactly in downtown). And don’t forget our wonderful and amazing bookstore, Little Shop of Stories.
Here’s a second for Vivid. Also, Square Foot is more than clothes!
A few specific items: Radio Roasters coffee (Scottdale), Starr bottle openers (Avondale Estates). Haven’t tried them yet, but anxious to check out Poppa Corn’s popcorn in Kirkwood.
Decatur Glassblowing, gallery and classes.
Squash Blossom for women’s accessories
Visitor’s Center for some City of Decatur swag
Decatur CD
Greene’s
Sq Foot
Wild Oats and Billy Goats has lots of unique affordable gifts
Try downtown Avondale Estates: Garage Door Studio, Mama Bath and Body, Sunbrimmer Records, etc!
Scored at Wild Oats and sq/ft. Thanks, ya’ll!
What is open on Christmas Eve? Christmas Day?

Anyone know when the Agnes Scott tree recycling will begin?
