Report: Saba Restaurant in Oakhurst Closes

    Decatur Metro | February 25, 2017 | 10:30 am

A commenter noted late yesterday that Saba Restaurant has closed its Oakhurst location….

Strolled to Oakhurst tonight thinking of a salad at Saba, only to discover it’s gone. There’s still the one in Emory Village, but I’m sorry it’s left Oakhurst.

Yelp is also reporting that the Oakhurst location has closed and their website and Facebook page only mention their Emory Village location.

I can’t find a reference anywhere, but I thought this was announced a month or so ago.

I hate to celebrate the demise of a local establishment but Saba was just not good. I gave it four or five chances over the years. I’d love to see a real breakfast/brunch spot in Oakhurst.

Yeah, was in Oakhurst on a Saturday night several weeks ago and noticed all the lights off in the place, so they’ve been shuttered for a while now.
