Google Fiber sent around this message earlier today….

We’re excited to share the news. Google Fiber has arrived in Atlanta. Sign-ups begin today in a few neighborhoods to start—and we’ll be bringing Fiber to more of Atlanta in the coming months. You’ll be among the first to know when sign-ups open in your area.

Have friends who may also be interested in Fiber? Let them know they can check their address at google.com/fiber/atlanta to stay updated. You can also share the graphic below.

When you click thru, the site states…

Sign-ups are open until September 29 in Midtown East and Piedmont Heights

And when you imput a Decatur address it says…”Pre-construction sign-ups open soon”

So I guess Decaturites will have to wait a bit longer.  But for those eager, I’m sure hearing that Google Fiber is getting up and running in intown Atlanta is welcoming news!
