Your Atlanta Streetcar: doubling down on 16 when the dealer is showing an ace.

Is it any wonder that a train that goes no where, slowly is a fiasco? Our tax dollars at work. From the article:

Another issue: the 91,373 rides so far in 2016 have raised $45,186, according to the mayor’s office. It is unclear what is causing the discrepency between fare box revenue and the number of rides.

So even with minimal ridership, half aren’t paying. Now they want more of our tax $. Nice.

To extend the metaphor, doing that while gambling with someone else’s money

The $10B includes nothing for public transportation and is only projected to relieve traffic by 5%.
