      This was our son Jonah’s shoe! He had had it approximately 6 hours before we lost it on our nightly walk. Finding it two days later, wedged in the stop sign at the top of our street, warmed my heart. Thank you to whomever (1) found the shoe and (2) saved it for us! You made this mom’s day.

        Even more than the restaurants, school popularity, and walkability, this is why I love living in the City of Decatur!

      The only way this could be a better story was if someone posted this as a “lost shoe”, and then the owner/his mom reclaimed it!!!!!
