Days are getting shorter. There’s a bit of a bite in the air early in the morning and late in the evening.
It’s that time of year! Where are your favorite apple-picking spots around Georgia?

Mercier is obviously the go-to. I’ve tried a couple others, but always had the best experience there. We go every year (sometimes a couple times a year).
Mercier, of course. But any of the smaller ones closer to Ellijay are good, too. They range from no-frills, just picking, to full blown events during apple fesitval time (2nd and 3rd weekends in October). Hillcrest Orchards in particulr always has a bunch of fun stuff if you have kids, http://www.hillcrestorchards.net/
This was a great idea for a thread. DM you should probably take more time off. š
Ha, it was actually my wife’s idea!
We have only done BJ Reece (they have a groupon the past 2 years) and kids like it. Guess we will need to try Mercier next year!
